It has been refreshing to see the sun shining and the children have welcomed the opportunity to play outside more often. Our two hens are loving their new home and it is great to see so many of you coming to visit them.
We are all really excited about the arrival of the Olympic torch on Saturday and look out for our five children who will be joining the 100 strong choir on Custom House Quay. Good luck to Sean Macdonald, our PCSO, who will be running with the torch.
The Diamond Jubileee is giving us a reason for a big party and I am looking forward to seeing all the children dressed up. Thank you to the Friends of Falmouth Primary School who have bought a commemorative gift for every child.
Today we received some really exciting news that we have been successful in our application for an Artsmark! This has been awarded in recognition to the committment the school has to the arts which also includes music, drama and dance. We will be holding our next private viewing on the 29th May in our art gallery. The works on display are the outcomes of the fantastic work that happened during our printing art day. Please make sure you come along during the week to see the pictures.
Thank you for your continued support, it is a pleasure to have the children in school.
