Falmouth Primary Academy
'Outstanding Together'
  • Falmouth Primary Academy

We are a friendly, vibrant academy where we believe that children achieve best when there is a strong partnership between home and academy. We will do everything we can to foster this.

We pride ourselves in the fact that our curriculum is designed for the children in our community both locally and globally. We place particular emphasis on the basic skills of English and Mathematics and teach these within a rich, broad and exciting curriculum. We have a wide range of extra-curricular activities and our children are happy and enjoy learning together.

We strongly feel that the academy should be part of the local community and we take active role within it. We are committed to the environment and have achieved Bronze Award Academy status.

Falmouth Primary Academy is part of The Learning Academy Trust (TLAT), which is a Multi Academy Trust. There are currently 9 schools within this Trust: Trenance Learning Academy, St Newlyn East Learning Academy, St Merryn, Trevisker, The Bishops, Mabe and Constantine  and Foxhole Learning Academy. The schools work together across a number of areas and this ensures that all children across the Trust have the best possible learning opportunities, which enables them to make outstanding progress.

As well as being part of the TLAT, the four schools are part of the Kernow Teaching School Alliance (KTSA). Again this maximises opportunities for collaborative learning and working , ensuring that school improvement impacts positively on pupil progress.

This website offers you the opportunity to find out a little more about life here at Falmouth Primary, and if you are a prospective parent/carer we warmly invite you to come and have a look around and meet us in person.

We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you into our academy.
