In line with government guidance, from September we will be welcoming all registered pupils to our schools.

We pride ourselves on being a caring, nurturing school, while at the same time, ensuring that every child reaches their potential, academically.

We’d like to thank you for visiting our website and we hope that you will be able to see the ethos that is embedded across the whole school.

  • Facilities & Results

We are very fortunate to have a very large site which has 3 separate buildings all in close proximity to each other. There is a playground that separates the 2 main buildings. For ease we call them the Jubilee site, which currently has Reception and KS1 children and the Tregothnan Site which has all our KS2 children. We have a separate 52 place Nursery which is based on our Jubilee Rd site. There is a large covered area outside the Reception class, which enables the children to access the outside provision in all weathers.

  • Curriculum

We pride ourselves in the fact that our curriculum is designed for the children in our community both locally and globally. We place particular emphasis on the basic skills of English and Mathematics and teach these within a rich, broad and exciting curriculum. We have a wide range of extra-curricular activities and our children are happy and enjoy learning together.

  • Classes

Our classes include a Nursery, Two reception classes and Years One through to Six.

We also have an Area Resource Base on our site. This is a specialist unit for children who have complex additional needs. This unit is run a specialist, special needs teacher and a team of teaching assistants.

  • Parents

We whole-heartedly encourage parents to take part in their children’s academic activities. Our aim is to keep parents fully informed at every stage of their child’s education. Please take some time to have a look at our dedicated ‘Parents’ page where you will find lots of useful information.
